Driving Responsible Tourism and Economic Growth Together
In alignment with the Port of Seattle’s Century Agenda to “Advance this region as a leading tourism destination and business gateway,” the Tourism Development team works to grow regional economic development through tourism connected to Port facilities.
The Tourism Marketing Support Program provides a unique partnership opportunity for organizations to drive out-of-state visitation while encouraging the use of Port facilities—SEA International Airport, cruise terminals, and recreational marinas.
Funding supports responsible tourism initiatives and marketing efforts that promote destination development and stewardship that align with the Port’s goals of increasing the positive economic and social benefits tourism delivers to communities throughout Seattle, King County and the State of Washington.
